Child Care Inclusion Support

We have created a meaningful opportunity to connect Resource Consultants, Early Childhood Educators (ECEs), Child and Youth Workers, and Social Workers who are specifically trained in supporting children with diverse needs, with child care programs seeking additional support.

While inclusive practice is the goal of all educators, it can be challenging to fully meet the needs of every child without adequate staffing and access to specialized resources. When programs are supported by trained professionals with expertise in inclusion, children experience more positive and successful outcomes.

This is the foundation of ECE Community Elevation Services.

Our interdisciplinary team of educators and professionals is equipped to support programs and work with children with a wide range of diagnoses and support needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder

  • Cognitive Delays

  • Down Syndrome

  • Hearing Impairments

  • Behavioural and Emotional Needs

  • Sensory Processing Needs

  • Physical Disabilities

  • Developmental Delays

  • Aggressive or Complex Behaviours

Program Environment Support

We provide a comprehensive evaluation of your program, along with a customized plan designed to support and strengthen your inclusion goals. Our approach is collaborative, ensuring that your team is actively engaged throughout the process and feels confident in implementing inclusive practices.

Beyond program planning, we offer ongoing staff support to help educators feel equipped in their day-to-day work. This includes practical strategies, guidance in real-time situations, and opportunities for reflection and skill-building to strengthen inclusive environments across your program.

We recognize that meaningful inclusion requires more than intention—it requires the right tools, knowledge, and support. Our goal is to work alongside your team to build sustainable practices that benefit both educators and the children in your care.

Ethical Inclusion
Advocacy 101

We are committed to ensuring that child care programs are treated fairly and with integrity. We encourage all programs to understand their rights and responsibilities when evaluating their practices, so they can make informed, ethical decisions around inclusion.

While accommodating all children is the ultimate goal, meaningful inclusion requires the appropriate resources, staffing, and support. Child care programs must be equipped to provide safe, responsive, and high-quality care for every child in their environment.

Our Advocacy 101 Consulting provides programs with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to advocate within their rights as service providers. We support you in navigating complex situations, making informed decisions, and ensuring the safety and well-being of both children and staff.
